We are a start up in a new category of business in California, the Cottage Food Operation. Cottage food operations are fully regulated kitchens within a private dwelling. Both the owner/operator and any employees are fully licensed with either a servsafe certification or the California food handlers card.

It's Memorial Day! Let us all take a moment to pause and reflect on those who gave their lives to continue this great American experiment. An unrequitable gift to our people, their life and all the potential their in. Should we honor their memories with a day of rest and frivolity alone, or should we reflect on the legacy of their sacrifice? The oath of our service-members is to the Constitution, this is not an accident, it is not bound to any one party, religion, or belief but rather to We the People as a whole. Our Founders understood the need for the military to be of and for the people. Throughout our history our most courageous have answered the call, from every corner of the land and every walk of life, to sacrifice so that the rest of us may pursue Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Let us never forget that from our very first battles many of our people have fought in support of our values and the promise of our young Nation while themselves being left out of that bounty. Let us recognize the gift that such sacrifices truly were, given in the hope that a time would arise when our Nation fully realizes the promise of our Founding. With each new generation of Americans we get a bit closer to that promise and I for one would like to thank the fallen soldiers and the Gold Star families for granting us the time to make this more perfect Union. Out of the many, we are One
