The Amp Shop started in mid 90’s as an amp service shop specializing in repairs of vintage tube amps and modifications and restoration for touring pros,studio and local players and collectors in Reseda,Ca. In 1999 we moved to our Sherman Oaks location, added Tina Wood as our resident Luthier and added guitar
and stringed instrument repair, and restorations. In 2000 we merged with the Bassexchange and became a complete location offering sales and service on electric guitars,
basses,acoustic instruments, amplifiers and an impressive inventory of effects and accessories from exclusive boutique builders
around the world.
