Badger Ordnance was founded in 1982 to manufacture Pistols and Rifles of unparalleled accuracy and quality. As we expanded the scope of the custom firearms work, it became apparent that there was a lack of precision components available. Badger Ordnance currently manufactures over 150 items for precision rifles including the largest selection of tactical scope rings and mounts.

The C1 Charging Handle is LIVE!

We know that many of you have been waiting for this new charging handle, and we’re beyond excited to finally release it to you. The Condition One Charging Handle, dubbed the C1CH, is a direct reflection of the time and toil we have spent over years of work to deliver the highest quality in performance and design aesthetics. Unlike any offerings on the market today, we machine our charging handles from forgings, rather than billet or extrusions, resulting in a significantly stronger product. This is a commitment we have maintained since we first invented, filed, and were awarded patents on the ambidextrous charging handle. The C1CH features a raised gas fence, ergonomically designed latches with vertical serrations on the front and back for a nonslip grip, with rounded edges to reduce snagging. We reduced the overall width to a narrower 2.42”, offering enough purchase to easily make ready, without being overly bulky.

This first release includes 5.56 charging handles in black and tan. You can find them for sale on our website and with participating dealers. In 2026 we will be bringing our 7.62 and MCX compatible models to market as well.

It’s that time of year again. The Badger Black Friday sale will kick off tomorrow and run through December 2nd. If it’s in stock, it’s 15% off.

We won’t be changing anything for “Cyber Monday” because, well, isn’t everything online anymore? When was the last time you had to fight to the death with someone at a Walmart over a TV? Look what they’ve stolen from us.

We’ve found that mounting the FIRE4000 is feasible on either our standard 9-slot CLIF rail, or our shorter 8-slot Impact rail. Depending on your optic’s turret height and other factors, you’ve got options available to you for seeing the screen when mounting the gun.
