Our Beginner Artists got to break out the paints this week and add some color to the ceramic astronaut helmets they made earlier in the session! 🚀🎨

One of our favorite parts of these projects is seeing how differently each artist takes the same starting point and makes it their own.

Beginner Artists gives our K–1st grade creators a chance to explore different materials and techniques while building confidence and making their own creative choices along the way.

We’re teaming up with Penn Elementary for an afternoon of ceramics at Big Picture!

You’ll have up to two hours to create your own clay project using a pinch-pot design as your starting point. Our instructors will be there to help, but where your project goes from there is entirely up to you! ✨

Sunday, Sept. 27 | 2–4pm
$35 per participant
📍 Big Picture, 760 Nathan Ave., Warehouse #3
North Liberty

We’ll fire your finished creations, and they’ll be ready for pickup within two weeks. Best of all, all profits from the workshop go to Penn Elementary! 💜

Kids are welcome with an accompanying adult, so this is a great one to make into a family art afternoon.

Registration is open now — link in bio!

We got to celebrate one of our favorite young artists this past weekend! 🎨🥳🩵

Sadie chose our “Sea Monster Under the Moon” painting for her birthday party, and we had so much fun watching her and her friends put their own spin on it. 🦑🌙

We love getting to be part of these special days, especially when we get to celebrate students we’ve watched grow as artists!

Happy birthday, Sadie, we 🫶 you! 🎉

Looking for a creative way to celebrate a birthday? Our canvas painting and clay parties let kids create something they’re genuinely excited to take home. And you get to leave the paint, supplies and creative chaos with us. 😉

Find party details + booking on the Private Parties page at the link in our bio. 🎂✨
