We make flooring EZ with a fast selection process, expert guidance, and quality products to transform your space confidently. In 1967 Duane "Butch" Olberding was back from Vietnam and in need of a job. He started working for a terrazzo flooring company and later started installing a new luxury furnishing known as wall to wall carpet with his brother Denny. In 1969 Butch and family moved to north central Iowa and and started installing carpet on his own. Butch became known as the best quality installer around, he trained more than 10 installers over his career and two of them were his sons Luke and Nick. Through his dedication to quality and excellent service his sons have continued on with the tradition of excellence in flooring installation. Nick Olberding is now the owner of EZ Floorz which operates from North Liberty, IA. Nick serves the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas.
