Looks like a rainy day. Even though we’ve got a lot of cars in the lot, I’ve got a full class of 18 people in the classroom - we are done on the range.

It’s been a G***k kinda week. On the range with my G***k 45 MOS and Holosun SCS qualifying for my LEO job.

My eyes are getting worse and I’m aiming too high at the 15 yard line. 494 / 500 this time.

Great day spending time with the my son Bradley at G***k Armorer Training at the Conway PD Training Center.

Here’s what I’ve been able to gather so far about the V Series:

Mags are compatible with Gen 5 mags
Holsters are compatible
There are changes to the trigger mechanism
There are changes to rear cover plate
They have changed internal frame milling
They are not compatible with the current G***k Performance Trigger (I.e. the Gen 5 one)

LE Agencies can still get Legacy (Gen 4, Gen 5, etc) pistols through the Agency Sales program (not commercial channels like us)

Legacy pistols will not be available for commercial or blue label sales

We did not get any training on new V series pistols. They were not present at training. No slides on them or other training material was available.

Wish more news was available but you know how these companies are…they are tight lipped until everyone knows about it at the same time.

G***k is discontinuing their current line of pistols in November with the exception of the 43, 43X, and 48. G***k lost a lawsuit in New Jersey over their pistols being easy to convert to full auto with the addition of a “G***k Switch” that people are illegally making and installing.

California also banned G***ks from being sold in their state of 39.3 million people. While I believe this lawsuit will be overturned and this ban ruled unconstitutional, G***k has to continue to do business in a process that will likely take years.

Current G***ks have disappeared from the supply chain or have gone on “Allocation” because of soaring demand for current models. We still have some current models and have more “Blue Label” ones on the way.

We will stay in stock as long as possible.

It’s worth noting that initially MOST MOS versions of the V will not be produced….why in the world they would make a 23 V MOS initially but not the 19 V MOS and the 45 V MOS is crazy to me…

It just so happens that I will be in a refresher G***k Armorer Class on Thursday October 23rd (tomorrow). I don’t expect much information or any training on the “V” series, but if I do, I’ll let you know.

The ma*****na and guns issue is going to the Supreme Court.

The Trump administration is arguing that users of ma*****na should not be allowed to have their 2nd Amendment rights.
