Kyanite is primarily found in metamorphic rocks and forms from clay minerals being forced into high-pressure alterations. Kyanite has bladed crystals and is similar to garnet, staurolite, and corundum. Kyanite is extremely heat resistant, so it is used in manufacturing and foundries.

Kyanite is a super cool crystal, but of course it is also beautiful and unique! Stop by the rock shop to get yours!
