This weekend the Candy Barrel is proudly offering coffee caramels. We've taken our luscious caramel recipe and added real (dehydrated) espresso to the cream before cooking the caramel. This provides a deep rich contrast to the sweet and buttery caramel. Once they're coated in chocolate though, they are divine. Each chocolate covered caramel is topped with a dark roasted espresso bean. It adds wonderful texture and a blast of coffee flavor. Available in plain caramels, milk chocolate covered and dark chocolate covered.
