📚 October Reading Wrap-Up! 🍂

October was a great month of reading, but two books really stood out!

🍁 Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy was hands down my favorite! I reread it this month, and somehow I loved it even more the second time around. It's one of those books that just gets better with every read. ❤️

👻 Miss Wolcott's Ghost by Louise Penny was a close second. I'm such a fan of Louise Penny's mysteries, and this one reminded me why I love her writing so much!

📖 What was YOUR favorite book you read in October? O

📚 Two of our favorite authors. Two new books. Which to pick first!

Lee Child’s newest Jack Reacher book, Chain Reaction, is here!

Michael Connelly’s newest Harry Bosch, the Hollow, is here!

Which character are you going to catch up on first? 🔥

📚✨ Book Review: Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer ✨📚

What happens when a perfectly ordinary girl takes a job working for the kingdom's most notorious villain? Apparently, a whole lot of chaos, laughter, and unexpected romance! ❤️

Assistant to the Villain is such a fun, quirky read! Evie Sage is simply trying to make a living when she finds herself employed by a dangerously handsome villain. Between the suspicious happenings around the office, the questionable workplace activities, and her growing attraction to her very intimidating boss, Evie has her hands full!

This book is a delightful mix of fantasy, humor, mystery, and slow-burn romance. The witty banter, lovable characters, and laugh-out-loud moments make it an entertaining escape from reality.

Think romantic comedy meets fairy tale, with a villain who might not be quite as villainous as he seems!

If you love a little magic, a little romance, and a whole lot of fun in your reading, give this one a try!

📚 What Are You Reading Friday? 📚

This week, I'm heading back to Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy in preparation for our Bookends Book Club meeting at the end of the month!

I've already read it once and absolutely LOVED it! ❤️ This time, I'm experiencing the story all over again on audio through Libro.fm. There's something special about revisiting a book you already know you love!

Sometimes the best books deserve a second read. 📖🎧
