Where has Uncle Guy been?!
Good question! My niece is about a month or so away from ringing the bell. We're almost there! She and my sister's family were always a priority in this little book endeavor, so if I needed to pause things, I'd just do it. You all kept on coming with your book orders though, and it has only continued growing to this day. So, while I've been MIA from posting here and marketplace for a few months, you all have bought books continuously in droves. And I can't thank you all enough. Seriously. It's been amazing. The collection is at 1800+ books now. So, I haven't been posting, but have kept the collection growing. I'm very proud of the unique little basement library I've built for everyone!
What I've mainly been doing since we hit the homestretch is job hunting. Also why I've disappeared. Got a job with someone within this book community actually with his insurance firm, and have been studying to get my insurance license! So, here in the future, hopefully I'll be able to help many of you keep finding books, and perhaps help get you some good homeowners, property, business owners, or even pet insurance. But, that'll all come in time after I get my license.
Thanks for hanging with me during all of this life transition, and thanks for continuing to stop by, browse my bookstore and chat all things books, and buy books! For now, due to my intense studying for my insurance license, I've still been buying books after most sales. Just haven't had time to add them to the list. So, I'll attach pictures of alllllllll the new books I have still needing to be added and priced. If you see any you want, let me know and I'll research and price them for you real quick! (the last two pictures with the fancy hardcover books like Bloodsworn Saga, Dandelion Dynasty, Infinite Jest, etc...I'm not sure yet if I'm selling. But, am sharing for transparency. If I do sell, they'll probably have a hefty "I'd really rather keep but will sell to the right person" mark up in price. They're definitely the cream of my book collection crop. Just an fyi! )
