We had a lot of fun with our Team Spicy or Team Sour Challenge at the State Fair! The challenge ended up pretty even.
I hope we have some new followers. We met some really awesome people during our time at the fair, vendors and customers!!
The store will be open regular hours now until August 30 when we have Kewanee Hog Fest.

Today is my last day at the Artisan Market. I will be there 10-3.

The countdown to the Illinois State Fair is on! Be sure to make a stop by the Illinois Department of Agriculture Tent at Main Street and Central Avenue for the 4th Annual Illinois Product Artisan Market, next to the high dive.

Friday, August 9th: 10a to 5p
Saturday, August 10th: 10a to 5p
Sunday, August 11th: 10a to 3p

The Illinois Product Artisan Market features a variety of vendors, including Fruit of the Spirit (specialty jams and preserves), Glaciers End (jelly, jams, and sauces), Skitopel (all natural insect repellent), Uncle Joe's Sauce's, Mickey's Massive Burritos, Umland's Crunchy Cheese, Peters produce (sauces, seasonings, and baked goods), C & C Freeze Dried Goodies, Salty Provisions by Wanderlust Sea Salt LLC (sea salt and seasonings), Fire Dept. Coffee, Luka Popcorn Co., Tonie's Treats (homemade dog treats), Four Score and Seven Ribs Ago BBQ, Zillion's Chili Bowl Seasoning Mix, Talia's Cookies and Illinois Wine (wine slushies).

Amber and I are at the State Fair all week. We released our new candy which is getting rave reviews! Can you guess what it is?
We are at the south end of the Grandstand building. Come out and see us!

Having fun at Streator Fest!! Currently listening to Sevendust!! We got to enjoy Hinder on Thursday night! Everyone is loving all of our new releases. Our Zesty Os were given as samples with rave reviews from festival goers. We released our Skibbles Caliente which a few brave people tried and actually really loved. We also introduced our new candy straws which were a huge hit with, not only the children, but also the adults!
Well folks, we have to get up tomorrow and do this again, so we are going to call it a night. Good night!
