As a reminder, our secondhand mass market paperbacks are half the cover price and those are often between $4-5 each and hardcover and trade size books being more like $8-12.

Think of how many books you could get at those prices for the same as a new book in this day and age!

What better way to enjoy books than with a nice drink during these summer days?

Our shop is just a short walk away from the Espresso Shop down 4th Street and makes for a great place to browse after getting something tasty.

We had an interesting visitor in the store today!

This young lady is traveling through each and every state with the goal of visiting and buying a book from at least one independent bookstore. We were selected as the choice for Nebraska!

We had a fun talk and even showed her a copy of International Bestselling Nebraska Author Alex Kava’s book, Exposed, which has the story’s characters visiting A-Z Books here in North Platte.

Maybe this tale will inspire you to have such an adventure across the States!

Local author Rhonda Johanson has arrived for her book signing of her children’s book, “A Toad’s Tale”!

This is a cute little fantasy adventure with illustrations inside.

The signing would make for a great visit today, especially if the family is making a trip to the Children’s Museum across the street!
