My dad, Wayne Grieme, started in 1980 selling fireworks out of the back of his truck. Making us the longest continuous selling vendor in Alaska. Throughout the years he had stands spread out in the state. His kids were getting older and starting their own families, so he wanted to down size. s opened a portable stand in the Safeway parking lot in 1991, saving our customers the once long drive outside the borough. A larger structure was built on the corner of Peridot and Richardson Hwy in 1993, which is where you will still find us every season. We have the largest selection of Black Cat products in the state and are guaranteed the lowest prices. I took over the business in 2012 and now one of his great granddaughters is a flag waver!
