At Matt’s Music, we love giving back to the community and providing students of all economic backgrounds an opportunity to develop their musical talents. Something special is coming to The Jazz Lounge this fall.

On Thursday, October 29, we return to Statler Buffalo and the Rendezvous Room for Sinatra in the Lounge—an evening celebrating the songs, swing, style, and timeless spirit of Frank Sinatra.

Perennial JazzBuffalo Poll favorite Zach Carr takes the microphone, joined by My Cousin Tone', the eight-piece ensemble that has spent 11 years bringing the Great American Songbook to life each week at JazzMondays.

This won't be about impersonating Sinatra.

It will be about celebrating what made his music endure—the phrasing, the storytelling, the swing, the romance, and those memorable songs.

And we can think of few settings better suited for it than The Jazz Lounge at the Rendezvous Room.

An intimate room. A cocktail at your table. Eight musicians. One of the region's favorite vocalists. And the music of Ol' Blue Eyes.

We were so excited to present Angel Rivera, incoming student of North Tonawanda High School, with his very own, new clarinet! The Matt’s Music Charitable Foundation helps students of all ages, abilities, and economic status to achieve their musical goals, and one thing we love doing is providing instruments for students who show great promise and are excellent members of their community. Angel was recommended to receive this instrument and honor by his middle school band director, Mrs. Roberts.

What an incredible conclusion to this year’s Summer Jazz Camp! The performance group showcased their talent and hard work at this weekend’s event at Gateway Harbor. They were the warm-up act for the Albany Symphony Orchestra. Congratulations to all the students who participated and a big thank you to directors Mr. Andrew Peruzzini and Ms. Rachel Birkman. We are so proud of this incredible group! 🎶🎷🎺

With football season right around the corner, Matt's Music Vocal Performance Team is running a football squares fundraiser for the 2026-2027 Buffalo Bills season! All funds raised will go towards all things MMVPT. Each square is $60 and will cover the cost of all 17 regular season games. We hope you will support us this season, and of course GO BILLS!❤️💙
