Any of my plushie fans interested in this Squishables display?

Howdy friends! Is anyone interested in this cardboard Squishables display? Trying to keep it out of the recycling bin. The bottom corner has a wee bit of water damage but it will still hold plushies just fine. No cost, of course.

It's been a hot minute!

Howdy fam!

I've been kinda busy... O_o

To catch everyone up to where we are right now:

I closed my brick and mortar on June 27th, 2026. Because we no longer have a store to pick up at, we are no longer offering the "purchase online for in-store pickup" option on our website.

Until then, you can visit any of our partners! Head to The Old Chapel Market (https://www.facebook.com/TheOldChapelMarket/) for bar soap, Wurlitzer Pharmacy (https://wurlitzerfamilypharmacy.com/) for soap, lotion, and Scrub Cubes (after I drop off their order on 7/9), and lip balms and lotion at the Western New York Welcome Center (https://taste.ny.gov/location/western-new-york-welcome-center) on Grand Island.

You can also place an order online but please realize that there is going to be a shipping delay while we move. Orders place after 7/8/26 will not ship until late July.

As soon as the new store owner makes her announcement, I will let you know! It will be soon, I promise. Y'all will be back to shopping in person in no time.

Unrelated to all of that, I have frustrating news for all of us. The company who supplied the fragrance oils for both the Rose Garden and Mysore Sandalwood products closed out of the blue back in December, which I did not know about until a little while ago. [insert very angry face here] I am searching for replacements but as you may remember from when we lost Saffron & Cedar for a couple of years, it can take time for me to find a replacement that is up to my standards. So far I've only found fragrances that smell like the inside of your grandma's medicine chest, and wet pencil shavings, which is not what we're going for! I will keep everyone updated on this situation.

One last item of note - in the very heart of Martinsville, Old Falls Blvd has a yearly block sale every July, and I'll have a tent with some items left from the store. The $1 Pool that y'all loved will be back, as well as a $2 table and a $5 table! July 24th and 25th, from 9 am to 3 pm. I will be towards the Niagara Falls Blvd end (but it is not my house because our dog would lose her mind if there were people in front of our house all day). If there's anything you are sad you missed out on, just let me know and I'll make sure it's there.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by during our Great Gift Shop Cleanout! The store is now closed (until the space reopens under new ownership, more details on that soon...)

Until then, if you need any soap, you can head over to the The Old Chapel Antique & Artisan Market where we have a decent selection and will be adding more soon.

You can also shop online at https://MartinsvilleSoapworks.com and we'll ship it out to you! (Please don't choose pickup, there is nowhere for you to pickup from.)

While you're at our website, scroll down to the very bottom and join our mailing list! It is 100% the very best way to keep in touch with what we have going on. I send out an email every week or so to keep my best people updated. Social media is great, but it's actually terrible for you to keep in touch with any of your favorite small businesses - not just mine. They're notorious for changing algorithms and limiting who sees posts - unless, of course, you pay. And even when we do run ads, they are not super responsive with when those ads start and stop - as those of you who are still seeing our sale ads know. Mailing lists don't have problems like that - ours show up in your email once a week and keep you updated. I highly recommend them, not only mine, but for any small business you may love.

Let's do this, fam! The final three days of my 15 year journey as the owner of a brick and mortar retail shop are here, and there is still a great selection of items for you to choose from! (Partly because I'm still bringing items out that were hidden away in the back room!)
Almost everything is buy one item at the original price, receive two items of the same or lower original price FREE. Yes, free, at no cost, gratis, complimentary! Purses, tote bags, sunglasses, earrings, plushies, garden flags, pet items, Pride merch, you name it, it's B1G2F!!
Unless, of course, it's in the $1 Pool, a blind bag we've made up, or part of the regular Martinsville Soapworks line that will still be in the store once we leave.
Mixing and matching of items is of course ok, in fact it's highly encouraged!
A few folks have waited too long for items and missed out. Don't be that sad person who didn't get exactly what they were hoping to pick up. Stop in today! Or Friday, or Saturday, but not after that.
It has been an amazing 15 years curating these spaces for you. You are going to love the new shop and its owner, she is a delight and will take the very best care of you. And I'll still be around, making soap, taking names and causing trouble for my Husband, so stick along for the ride, won't you?
