Happy birthday to my extraordinary best friend! Sally is turning 14 today, shining bright despite the challenges she faces with multiple health issues that she’s courageously unaware of. Her spirit remains unbreakable as she runs everywhere, radiating joy, finds solace in making her bed, delights in playing with her cherished toys, basks in the warmth of the sun, savors every treat, explores the world for lizards, snuggles with mom, dazzles in cute dresses, and indulges in the secret treats daddy sneaks her. So happy to finally have my sign installed on the pool deck. I have wanted this for years after seeing one years ago at a beach resort where we stay. That one was lost to a hurricane and I decided to enlist the help of my very talented and beautiful friend, Connie Broyhill. Thanks so much for helping us enjoy some great memories of a few of the most memorable places we have visited together. We are adding Surfside Beach soon. Can’t believe I forgot that one. ❤️

If I could choose one word to describe our special day,…..it would be magical. So many things fell into place from the very beginning to make the day absolute perfection. No detail was missed. The entire week exceeded my expectations in every way. I cannot say enough good things about the Sandals Grand St. Lucian wedding department. Monica was our planner and she was absolutely exceptional. The wedding department is managed by Tayo Alexander and she makes sure that every wish is handled promptly with professionalism and grace. She is a hands on manager. She was on top of every detail. I could not love these girls more. They made me feel like family. They made the magic happen. Even when I decided that I wanted a steel drum band at my cocktail hour at the last minute. No request was out of reach for them.

The entire trip was filled with blessings and happiness. After we said our vows, we left the chapel to find an amazing rainbow outside. I felt sure that was our Heavenly angels smiling down on the day. Sandy, Andy, Tom, Bill, Gaynell, Lori and Todd. We felt every prayer and well wish. It was the best day of our lives. I will never forget our wedding in paradise. The St. Lucian people are extra special. I have never met anyone with the kindness, faith and love in their hearts that they have. We made lifelong friends and we will return to our happy place.

This day wouldn’t have been possible without the greatest travel agent in the world Krista Harrold was with us every step of the way. She made the trip of a lifetime come true for us. No detail was missed. What a blessing to have her plan and assist with every detail. I would never take another trip without her services. She is an amazing professional and friend we will always treasure.
