It’s Maple Fest on Main Street in Woodstock! We’ll be open today for this event if you want to come check out the town festivities- sugaring, square dancing, shop specials, stories and more!

At Fig Tree North we’ll be serving up maple infused tea with store wide sales and free stickers. Come say hi! :)

Hi friends 🤍

We wanted to let you know as soon as possible that we’re closing for late winter a bit sooner than usual. Fig has some unexpected family travel and needs to be with the one she loves right now.

We’re currently closed, but will be back for the weekend of Maple Fest (March 21!) and can’t wait to celebrate that Saturday of in-town festivities with you — square dancing, touch-a-truck, maple sampling, and Main Street shop specials. It’s going to be such a fun March weekend!

Then for the remainder of March through May, we’ll be locking our doors for our annual intentional pause, returning to reopen Memorial Day weekend with renewed inspiration and good vibes.

We hope you’re all doing well — feeling healthy, doing something creative, and taking good care of yourselves. You are loved, and we feel so honored to share community with you. See you soon!

✨Yesterday a three-year-old wandered in and fell in love with this vintage typewriter. He looked at me with wide, asking eyes, and I said yes before he even touched it. The moment his mittened fingers hit the keys, he told me he remembered that one time he used a typewriter like this…yearsssss ago.

I smiled and wondered if this was one of those tiny, ripple moments- a core memory that would inspire him to stay curious about writing.

“Yeah, It was YEARS ago that I wrote on a typewriter,” he doubled down, with a twinkle in his eye.

Past life? Maybe. Magic? Definitely. What a beautiful reminder to stay curious and playful. ✨ ❤️
