Riley pulled the sweep today winning her heat race and feature to win 1st overall in her division! Special thanks to Lourdes Bianchi-Schloss, Chris Ridley John Kunstbeck and Joshua Kunstbeck for all the help! Great job driver, blue plate time now.

Store opening update. As many of you know I have been out with Covid. I will be out of quarantine and clear on this Thursday. That brings us to Christmas, lil 500 and New Years. I will re-open on the 30th and back to normal the Monday after New Years. Sorry for any inconvenience. If you are in desperate need of something I can make arrangements to meet you next week after we are done for the day at New Smyrna. We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

It’s Derby time! The Speed Store will be closed Wednesday Dec 2 thru Monday Dec 6 and reopen on Tuesday Dec 7th. If you have never been to The Snowball Derby it’s a bucket list event, you will not be disappointed! We race Thursday night in the sportsman division. If you can’t make it watch it on speed51.

Riley Harper my granddaughter in The Speed Store 1/4 midget today at New Smyrna. Started 3 in the heat got dumped with 2 laps to go finished 3rd. Started 3rd in the feature and finished 2nd. Congrats to Riley and big thanks to John Kunstbeck, and Chris Ridley for all the help. A little work tonight and back for round 2 at 9 am tomorrow.

Congrats to our Champions carrying The Speed Store colors! Last night at Putnam Raceway these racers and their team captured their respective Championships. John Thorpe V8 Thunders with our Quicksilver crate power plant! Mark Rowdy Steube in Late Models, Daniel Baldwin in Real Stock and Dustin Childers in The Gladiator division. Thanks also to Tracy Cantley and staff for all the hard work bringing this track back to life. They have struggled and learned, now the surface is looking great. A couple more shows this year and looking forward to a huge 2022 season.
