Beginning Monday, August 24, Alabama hunters and anglers will have a new way to purchase and manage their hunting and fishing licenses through the My Outdoor Alabama licensing system.

The new system can be accessed through:

🚨 Must be updated to the latest 2.0.0 version to function properly. 🚨

If you hunt or fish in Alabama, be sure to familiarize yourself with the new process before purchasing your 2026–27 licenses.

🎀 For the hunter who has everything… here’s something you probably don’t have yet.

Fluorescent Pink.

The PINK ARMY is coming this fall, and yes—it meets Alabama’s hunter visibility requirements when worn as a full-size solid blaze pink hat or cap, just like blaze orange. Small front logos are permitted, but the hat must remain solid fluorescent pink and visible from every angle.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for our Take a Kid Fishing event!

We’re incredibly grateful to all of the families who spent part of their morning with us and helped make the event such a success. Seeing so many young anglers excited about fishing, learning new skills, and making memories was the highlight of our day.
