We have more goodies at the farm stand today!

* Farm Fresh Triple Berry Jam made by Fynley yesterday.
* Peanut Butter Cookies by the Dozen
* Zucchini Bread both with and without nuts
* Banana Bread both with and without nuts

Everything was washed in between baking products with and without nuts for anyone that might have a sensitivity.

Good Morning 🌞

We finally were able to get the Farmstand stocked up with some goodies. We currently have eggs, honey, wax melts, flowers, nettle tea, and some trinkets.

We take cash, Venmo, PayPal, Cash app, and Zelle.

Enjoy this beautiful day! I have to run to Amish Country to get my non-gmo feed for my chickens, ducks, turkeys and goats!

I grew up on food stamps and there were times we did not have much food in the house. My parents were pretty great although not perfect. There were some struggles growing up, but I don't know how they did what they did despite being married so young! Experiencing food insecurity as a child has definitely played a part in driving me to learn all I can about homesteading and being self-sufficient. Many small steps and accomplishments can lead to great things.

Today, my 16 year old daughter and I built a potato box. It was her idea. She saw this at Ramseyer Farms and I knew that it was exactly what we needed to do! Thank you, Fynley!

This should help us have a great amount to put away for winter. I want to see how self-sufficient we can be by growing as much of our own food as possible. This is going to be a great year! We got the basics built over the last 4 years but now we are going to focus on really having good systems in place to maximize our yields and efficiency.

We welcomed goat babies a month ago! Loretta our 2 year old doe rejected this guy (Cow the Goat), but is mothering his sister Liberty. They were born on Zeke's 6th birthday so he chose the names.

We believe Cow the Goat is blind in both eyes. That may be why his mom rejected him. He is thriving now. He eats well, is gaining weight, learning his space and follows sounds. He is adapting but still figuring it all out. Unfortunately his sister is a little wild and she is not the best companion for him. I'm hoping that Annie Goatley will give birth soon and provide a younger possible companion for Cow.

Blind goat kids can do really well. They are smart and learn their spaces. So consistency and routine are important. He is also becoming super bonded to humans. So we are going to give him all the love and support he needs to have a good life.

We have some super cute wind chimes the kiddos made. See the list for what else is available!

EGGS! Finally, Our chickens started laying again after we switched nesting boxes and put some herbs around. You can find them in the cooler.

Honey and Dippers
Blackberry Raspberry Jam
Vanilla Extract
Nettle Tea Bags
Organic Canola Oil

Pinecone bird feeders to hang. The kiddos made these as well with peanut butter and birdseed after collecting pinecones at Grandpa Gary's house.

And there is Magnesium Spray for restless legs and sore muscles that I made up! I use this every night and it has helped me to take less medicine for my MS symptoms.

There are also some knickknacks and ceramic honey containers.

And I should be making up some organic all natural bug spray this week too!
