The Norwalk Entertainment District is a sustainable mixed-use environment that includes food & beverage options, sit-down chef-inspired restaurants, boutique shops, entertainment, and free accessible events to the public. The mixed-use entertainment location provides Norwalk residents of all ages easy access to shopping, dining, co-working, exercising, and various types of community experiences that engage and delight the senses.

As construction begins, we are carefully preserving the existing monuments and ensuring they are protected throughout the process. We’ve also created a designated observation area so community members can safely view the site and follow along as The Walk takes shape.

✨ A milestone moment for Norwalk. ✨
On February 7, we officially broke ground on The Walk, a hub for year-round community gathering places designed by the community, for the community of Norwalk.

From years of resident input to today’s ceremonial shovels, this project represents progress, partnership, and a shared vision for a more walkable, connected Norwalk. The Walk will bring dining, shopping, entertainment, public art, and thoughtfully preserved memorials together in one vibrant civic space.

Thank you to our City leadership, Primestor, community members, project partners, veterans, local organizations, and residents who helped shape this vision and joined us to celebrate this important step forward.
