Okay, who already has tickets for the World Championship Rodeo this weekend?! 🤠

We’re bringing our custom cowboy and trucker hat bars to ForeFront Field for two full nights, and we cannot wait to see this place packed!

You guys did it. Actually, you did more than that. ❤️

Through our Perfectly imPERFECT Sale, you helped us raise $625 in memory of Alli Jo. The Loft matched $500 of that, bringing the total to $1,125.

But there is one more piece to this story.

A while back, an extremely intoxicated man entered the shared entryway of our building during the early morning hours and caused damage. The Loft and Common Good Collective later received a combined $525 in restitution for that damage.

Together, we decided to donate every dollar of it.

That brings the full donation to $1,650, which was deposited today into the Norwalk City Schools Endowment Fund for the Alli Jo Kurdinat Memorial Scholarship through the Erie County Community Foundation.

It just feels right that restitution from an incident involving intoxication will now help carry Alli Jo’s memory forward through the scholarship created in her name.

Thank you to every single person who shopped, donated and shared. You helped us take some perfectly imperfect merchandise and one incredibly frustrating situation and turn them into something truly meaningful.

As for the weather, it has apparently decided it needs some attention today too. But rain or shine, we are still here until 5pm for the LAST day of our Sidewalk Sale, and we are still raising money for a great cause.

Our perfectly imperfect finds are just $5 to $20, with every dollar from those items being donated. We have raised $680 so far, and we would really love to hit $1,000 before we pack everything up tonight. We are also accepting donations if bargain hunting is not your thing.

And for our DIY friends, we are clearing it ALL out. Saltwash, General Finishes, IOD, accessories, and more are 40% off. Wise Owl is the only exclusion.

Our Perfectly imPERFECT section raised $340. With The Loft matching every dollar collected so far, together we have already turned that into $680 for Alli Jo’s mission.

I was really hoping we could reach at least $1,000 this weekend, and we are SO close.

We only need to raise another $160 tomorrow. With our dollar for dollar match on the first $500 raised, that becomes the remaining $320 needed to hit our goal.

Every item in our Perfectly imPERFECT section is only $5 to $20, and there are still some seriously good finds left. Do not need another thing but still want to help? We are also accepting donations of any amount.

Every dollar collected will be donated in memory of Alli Jo Kurdinat through the Huron County Community Foundation.

We want you to know who you are helping when you shop our Perfectly imPERFECT section this weekend.

Alli Jo Kurdinat was killed by an impaired driver. It is an unimaginable loss that no family should ever have to endure.

In the midst of their grief, Alli Jo’s family has chosen to use her story to help protect others. Through Drive Sober, Do It For Jo, they are raising awareness about the devastating consequences of impaired driving and reminding people that the decision to drive sober can save a life, a family and an entire community from heartbreak.

Every dollar collected from our cash only Perfectly imPERFECT section during the Sidewalk Sale will be donated in Alli Jo’s memory through the Huron County Community Foundation.

We’re also saying goodbye to our remaining General Finishes stains and topcoats, IOD, WoodUbend and so much more from our DIY days. All of it will be 40% off.

Like… TOP FIVE. How freaking amazing is that?!

The Loft at 36 Eleven is officially a finalist for Locally Owned Apparel Store in the Firelands Best of the Best Awards!

But can we also talk about the fact that THREE out of the five finalists are from NORWALK?! Because I absolutely freaking love that. There are some incredible businesses throughout the Firelands, and somehow our little corner of Ohio managed to snag three of the five spots. Norwalk showed UP. 👏

And as for The Loft… you guys did this.

You voted. You shared. You told your friends. You continue to show up for this business and all of the wild ideas we keep throwing at you. 😂 And somehow, here we are in the Top 5. Seriously, thank you. This is really freaking cool.
