Lots of news today:
We had North Norwich Head Start pick up their quilts as well as the quilts for Bainbridge. That’s 40 quilts pieced and quilted by a very small group of quilters. And I do mean VERY SMALL.
The Director of New Berlin was in as well asking if we could take on their Head Start. We can’t. Not given the fact we also do 12 larger quilts for Toys For Tots every year as well.
Are there any Guilds or Social quilting groups you know of that can make quilts for New Berlin? Right now it’s 20 quilts ready for August 2027.
These quilts are 36”x48”, quilted not tied. Contact me and I’ll forward the directors phone number to you.
If any quilters would be willing to help make quilts for Head Start we can provide kits for tops. We do meet Tuesdays at Sew Sewcial, but you are welcome to sign a kit out and work on it at home.
Saturday Shop hours changing to 9:00 - 1:00.

Edit to my last post I’m taking a mental health day Thursday July 23 so we will be closed. Back at it on Friday.

For the next two weeks the shop hours are going to be odd to say the least. My husband had his hip surgery and is unable to drive for a couple of weeks, so I’ll be taking him to appointments. Tuesday I’ll be closing at 2:30. Wednesday I’ll be open @11:00, Thursday I’ll be closing at 2:30.
I know this is inconvenient and it will throw longarming back a bit. For this I apologise and will get all your quilts done as soon as possible

Yes Mom, Lily will come home, I promise. But you need to be a little more selective with who you send as her guardian. Lovely woman, but she wanted to take her to Buffalo region.
