Vacation is over and we have resumed our regular hours.

Recently we acquired this amazing set of books that were printed in 1953. The preface of this large format set states “These two magnificent volumes of Wild Flowers of Western Pennsylvania and the Upper Ohio Basin with their accurate full descriptions and beautiful illustrations will be invaluable for the professional botanists and for those who collect plants simply for the fun of it.”

The first volume comprises Dr. Jenning’s descriptions of the plants and the second volume includes 200 plates of Dr. Avinoff’s spectacular watercolors.

Are you a fan of Stephen King’s Dark Tower Series? We recently acquired a collection of the first 7 books in the series. All are in very good condition. As a widower, I learned, the hard way, that one should never pass up an opportunity to spend time with family. Thus, when my kids proposed the idea of us all getting together for Father's Day, I jumped at the chance. Therefore, the store will be closed Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21. Independent Bookstore Day 2026 has arrived! We just added two exquisite sets of leather bound books to our inventory. One is a set of the works of Dickens and the other is the works Longfellow.
