Can I tell you something… last year I hated foliage and the year before that… and the year before that. but it’s growing on me. ESPECIALLY the most amazing fall foliage, mahogany splendor hibiscus. It stops everyone in there tracks when they see it because they think it’s a Japanese Maple in an arrangement 🍁 it’s truly remarkable

I was gifted 15 seeds of this earlier this season and each and every seed germinated. The plants grow over 5’ tall and produce strong branches. Legend has it, if you leave it long enough it’ll flower — but our zones season is coming to a close! I originally had this arrangment of MSH en masse but had some extra dahlias so I tossed them in just for funsies. Anyways — I’d highly recommend growing this foliage.

TIP! for wilting is to do the wiggle test prior to cutting just as you would a zinnia and store stems in a cool, dark room.

the dreamers disease is such an understatement IMO - I’ve been the ceo of many businesses since i was in single digits 🫠 drafted and designed my first office at age 10, writing contracts at age 11 and it just kept going from there 😂 actually hysterical because what do you MEAN I own a business (actually two) for REAL

dahlias and mixed bouquets in the flower shed this weekend 9/12 & 9/13 til sold out 🫶🏼🌸

every year it feels live I’ve just started my season but now we’re already in the home stretch, about one more month left of flowers or less

this year has been so busy - weddings, events, diy buckets etc etc that I have hardly had the flower shed open for bunches. I’m so grateful for all of the work (truly) but I’m also so excited to load the shed up with blooms a few more times before seasons end.

floral arranging workshop was the most fun!!! we made the most amazing moody arrangements, sipped on delicious drinks and snacked on napkins because I forgot to get plates! so many laughs were had and it was truly the best time!!

the highlight of the event was sweet Brenna rolling up in a golf cart - we have some of the best neighbors in our community!! so many exclamation points but just know I am so grateful and this event 1000% filled my cup 🫶🏼🌸🍂
