Civil War Days in Huntington Beach. Lindsay Weiler-Leon commissioned me to make this silk taffeta gown and Zouve jacket for her impression as Eleanor Sherman, General Sherman's wife. Gold was the inspiration Pic. Lindsay chose the red silk tafetta. I provided the trim with collaborating decisions. She made her hat.
We had perfect weather for the set up day, and a very busy Saturday until remnants of Hurricane Marie poured rain on us early Sunday morning throughout the day. Thanks to Lord Rivers Darrell Rivers and the Huntington Beach Historical Society for putting on this quality event!
