🌸 GONIOPORA FRAGGING AT LIBERTY REEF! 🌸

We’ve been busy in the shop breaking down some of our beautiful Goniopora colonies into smaller, more affordable colonies so more reef keepers can enjoy these incredible corals without having to spend a fortune! 🪸💙

But we don’t just start cutting! Proper precautions and careful handling are extremely important when fragging coral.

🧤 We wear gloves and take proper safety precautions
💦 Coral is kept in water throughout the process whenever possible
🔪 We use dedicated, properly cleaned tools for each fragging session
🧼 Equipment and work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
🪸 Each piece is carefully inspected and handled to minimize stress
💧 Freshly cut pieces are given appropriate care before being offered for sale

Our goal is simple: take a beautiful established colony, responsibly turn it into multiple healthy pieces, and make those pieces more accessible to our customers.
