🌈 Storytime 🌈
A few weeks ago, I spent a weekend with an incredible group of writers and authors. Emily Arrow (Emily Arrow 🏹) brought us all together (she's a people collector, just like me), and somehow we formed a bond that I truly can't put into words.
We shared so many moments that felt magical, but one in particular has stayed with me.
Emily writes beautiful songs inspired by picture books. There's one called Two Hands to Love You that always makes me cry. It's so full of love that I can hardly listen to it anymore without getting emotional.
I had never seen the book, but when the wonderful Diane Adams told me she was the author behind the story that inspired Emily's song, I immediately started crying. On top of it all, the book is no longer in print. Diane kindly sent me a copy and the rest is history. 📚✨️
How is it possible that two people can capture the feeling of loving a child so perfectly—one through words and one through music?
And somehow, I get to call them my friends.
My heart is so full. Grateful for these moments and for the people who remind me just how powerful stories can be. ❤️📚
