Dunton CO. after a week off to rebuild 3 pack saddles I had to ride my 5 horses across the raging spring run-off to continue our 3,000 mi. trip. Pack saddles worked & The 3 pack horses continued the trip with no White Hair or sores. I later did modifications on my custom saddle for this Foxtrotter.

Freezing spring run-off from Lizzards head peak came on in 4 days. I had taken the break at Dunton CO. to rebuild the 3 pack saddles that were damaging the horses backs. I had to ride all 5 horses ba****ck from the pasture behind, but finished the 3,000 mi. trip with sound horses, no sores.
