Please read to the end:
Sadly we weren’t able to stop the 95% tax, but there is a lawsuit pending. The hearing is on the 16th. And v***r industry lobbyists are going to be all over lawmakers this legislative session to get this set straight. So TY to everyone who chipped in to support Washington Smoke Free Association and their lawyers, who are still championing the effort to stop this tax!
So it’s not over, but because the tax starts on the 1st, we will be increasing prices on some products.
Interestingly enough, because this tax eliminates the per mL v***r tax, some product prices will go down. 100mL and 120 mL bottles of liquid will go down a couple bucks for example. 60mL will probably not change. 30 mL will probably go up a few dollars. The hardest hit will be disposables, and pouches, but it will probably only be $5-$7 a disposable and about $3 for a 20 pouch can.
DO NOT let other retailers tell you it’s going up 95% of the sales price. The new tax is an excise tax. And the old mL tax will be gone. Price increases shouldn’t be extreme.
You can always trust us to be 100% transparent and give you honest pricing and great service!
Thank you all for your loyal patronage, can’t wait to see you all next year!!!
