I bought this for my son who is currently in deployment. I wasn't sure if he would take it with him since he's not a writer. In talking to his wife, she said he told her he writes it in everyday. That made me so happy that I bought it now. He must have read the introduction from the author who said it was done capturing all the things he wished he would have written down during his time in deployment, and my son took it to heart and didn't want to miss out on retaining all the information he's learning. I told my son's wife that he'll be able to pass it down to his grandkids, and it'll be a piece of history about their grandfather.
