The Whidbey News Times reported on this but I had to find out if it was true for myself. Whidbey Island does indeed have a real live mermaid living among us and I was fortunate enough to snap a picture of her .....my thanks to the incredible Hannah Gluth, the real live Whidbey Island Mermaid!
