We don't post on social media a lot. Some of it is just us forgetting. Some of it is just a distaste for modern marketing. A lot of it is that we're busy upholding a retail tradition that can only be experienced offline.

We want to make sure that the quirky little music store -- a little messy and a touch threadbare but always warm and lively -- where you bought your first instrument and took lessons 10, 20, 30+ years ago has the same magical feel for the next generation. In a world of constant pings and rings, we think it might even hold more power today than ever.

We don't hate technology. We use it when we need it. But we're more excited to connect our students to colorful moments of real life interactions, to triumphs over challenges that can only take place in the physical world, to future bandmates and best friends, and to skills that will bring them joy and comfort for the rest of their lives.

So, yes, our online presence could use a little work. But we feel plenty connected.

"Sure, we can fix that! " is what we say to just about everyone that isn't holding a dog or cat. Don't let your fallen instruments exude guilt and ruin your life! Bring them in for a revival and luxuriate in the presence of living, singing- things. High prices are forbidden and tips are welcome.
