A little progress...We're redoing flooring but first this week we're having the electrician to move an electric panel that presents like a rectangular floor to ceiling pole.

In the meantime, we found and bought an awesome handmade sales counter and put it essentially where it will go in the store! We will have to move it to do flooring but we just had to see how it looked!

We have Hit 300 Followers! It may not seem like a big deal, but to us it is a milestone!! Thank you so much for your engagement and support thus far! We are so excited to serve this community plus help great books find new homes, and provide space for community events and games! Help us spread the word, this is a BIG little town and we need all the support we can get to make it in this economy!

Do any of our followers like history? We found this book in our collection that of course jumped out at me because the topic shared a name with one of our streets here in Oak Ridge. Did a little digging and figured out the street was named after the Alabama city of Tuskegee known well for their airfield at Tuskegee Institute that trained and developed the 332 Fighter Group of African American Pilots who made history! What a delight to also see it was hand signed by a -then-93 year old Charles Dryden. I just adore books and learning!
