Oak Ridge, the Story Dates Book Truck is coming back! 📚🚚❤️

And this time, I’m bringing a friend to Main Street Lofts - Luxury Apartments!

I’m teaming up with Neighbor Coffee Knox for a book-and-coffee pop-up that I think is going to be SO much fun. ☕📚

You can browse the Story Dates shelves for your next Blind Date with a Book, do a little holiday shopping, or simply find something new to enjoy for yourself — all while sipping on a handcrafted specialty drink from Neighbor Coffee Knox.

Neighbor Coffee Knox is a family-owned mobile coffee company and a local Oak Ridge favorite. You can find them at different Oak Ridge locations throughout the week, serving handcrafted drinks made with quality ingredients and balanced flavors. Every flavor is made in-house, including their caramel and mocha syrups, along with seasonal favorites like pumpkin and peppermint. ☕🤎

Basically… books + really good coffee. What more do we need? 😂📚☕

I’ll be bringing the book truck to Farragut Junction Apartments for the first time, and I can’t wait to meet the residents and introduce you to Story Dates! My shelves will be full of Blind Date with a Book bundles.

Still thinking about Book Lovers Night last week at Lakeshore Park. ❤️📚

It was simply magical from beginning to end.

The crowd showed up, and I left with almost empty bookshelves—which means I owe a HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by the book truck and supported Story Dates. Truly, thank you. Every purchase, every conversation, and every familiar face meant so much to me. 🥹❤️

A special thank you to Alyssa and her team for inviting me to be part of such a wonderful evening and for putting so much heart into bringing it all together. From the beautiful setting to the vendors, authors, and everyone who came out, there was such a wonderful sense of community.

And the evening continued with a sunset screening of Pride and Prejudice under the stars—a beautiful way to bring book lovers together and make the night even more memorable. 📖✨

This event really spoke to what COMMUNITY looks like. People coming together because they love books, supporting small businesses, discovering new authors, and enjoying an evening centered around something we all love.

I feel so lucky that the book truck got to be part of it. ❤️

And to all of the wonderful vendors and authors who shared the evening with me—thank you for making it such a beautiful night.

A little change of plans for today. ❤️

With the rain and road conditions, I’ve made the decision to keep the Story Dates truck home today. As much as I hate missing Maryville Makers Market, I can’t take the chance with my inventory or with driving my 1972 truck in wet conditions.

Maryville Makers Market is still happening today from 11AM–4PM, so if you’re headed that way, please go support all of the wonderful makers who are set up!
I’m sorry to miss you today, Maryville. I’ll see you at the next one! ❤️
