July was a crazy month!
From the final days of the storefront to moving everything into my new home studio, it has been a whirlwind. Now it’s August, the kids are heading back to school, my aunt has surgery coming up, and I’ve got several show quilts to finish. Life definitely isn’t slowing down!
One thing I can say is that the flexibility of working from home has already been a huge blessing. Being able to do what I need to do, when I need to do it, has brought a sense of relief I didn’t realize I needed.
People keep asking me, “Do you miss the store?”
My answer is… not yet. And honestly, I know I will.
But I don’t think it’s the storefront or the overhead that I’ll miss the most. It’ll be the people. The daily conversations, the laughter, the friendships… and yes, even the everyday drama that walked through those doors. Those moments made every day different and always gave us something to smile about.
I’m still Blossom Quilting—same number 209-840-0064. Reach out anytime, call or text (I’m quicker at responding to a text).
For those of you needing a quilt longarmed, I’m quilting every day! Reach out to me, and we’ll set up a convenient time for you to swing by the ranch and drop off your quilt.
I’m also loving watching our ranch house come to life. The flowers are blooming, the trees are growing, and even the dirt is starting to feel like home. It’s exciting to see everything slowly becoming our own, and I’ll keep sharing photos as we complete more projects.
I also have to give a huge shout-out to my husband. He has been an absolute blessing through all of this. He’s been incredibly supportive, easygoing, and has definitely mastered the phrase, “Yes, dear.” ❤️
Next up… the kids’ bathroom remodel! Stay tuned—I have a feeling this project will come with plenty of stories too! 🏡🧵
