Perfect ending to a long week. Thanks to your support, another roughly 4 lbs of trash removed from the ocean and shoreline.

Another beautiful evening as I headed out to pick up all the garbage I can from our shoreline today. Removed another 4 lbs today.

Someone asked why I use plastic bags. Good question. When I take my reusable bags to the grocery store, inevitably the clerk starts putting my groceries into the plastic bags, by mistake. I usually catch them quickly enough to avoid more than one bag as a casualty. See, once the clerk puts stuff in a bag, it’s much easier for them to throw out the bag. Which defeats the purpose of the reusable bags I bring. So I take the unwanted bag and give it a purpose.

Living life untamed is the art of unlearning everything you’ve been taught by humans and learning to vibe with the universe.

Picked up about 10 lbs of trash today. And I bring some things home when I feel led to. The starfish sand toy was adorable. To the left of the starfish is a seed and to the right a sailor’s heart.
