Miland Anticlastic & Synclastic Pliers - Born on the streets of Tucson, 30 Years Strong
Some tools earn their reputation the slow way: jeweler to jeweler, year after year, at the Tucson Gem Show.
The Miland forming pliers got their start over 30 years ago at a folding table on the street during gem show week. Word spread because the pliers worked. Anticlastic curves that used to take an hour at the dapping block came together in minutes. Synclastic forms that needed three tools and a lot of patience suddenly needed one set of pliers and a few squeezes.
Today the same handmade design is on our shelves, in six channel sizes for everything from delicate hoops to wide cuff bracelets. The Master 6-piece kit gives you the full range, or grab them individually if you only need one or two.
