How it all started...as Next Round Kids! Life can bring many ups and downs and when you're in those downs, providing basic needs for your family can become
very tough. When my family and I took a huge leap of faith and moved across the country to California (to pursue our dreams), we definitely went through some financial downs and struggled to pay rent, feed and clothe our kids. A few of my friends helped tremendously in the area of clothes for the kids!!!! They boxed and shipped clothes from their kids closet that they had outgrown. I cannot express how much that alone helped us! Many things aid in building self-esteem but self-image is a major factor. In recent years thrift shopping has become so trendy, as a result the prices at most thrift stores have skyrocketed to unaffordable pricing. Next Round Kids strives to help build the self-esteem of our youth by providing high quality, used/new clothing free to qualified families. We want kids to feel good about how they look so they can have the pride to achieve their dreams! Lets work together so that the lack of quality clothing is not an obstacle for their success! This experience has inspired me to take it to the Next Round! My hope and desire is to collect large amounts of gently used & new clothes (in great condition) for pregnant women and children ages 0-17 yrs., provide them for online shopping at a very low price and free to qualified families. By doing this, we hope to empower mothers and their families by reducing their burdens! Donated Funds will be used for vending fees at local events to collect & distribute clothes, flyers and other marketing needs, laundering clothes, storage needs and to rent a location for distribution of clothes, etc. How you can help:
