1950s Cowgirl Blues Western Set | Vintage 50s “Vaquero” Robin’s Egg Wool with White Piping Snap Shirt and Side Zip Trousers | Small Medium

Sing out those cowgirl blues in this 1950s western set and you’re sure to find your herd! From one of the best “Vaquero Fashions”, this set is a striking robin’s egg blue wool gabardine with white piping emphasizing the western accents well. The blouse fastens up the front and up the wide cuffs with pearly white snaps and it has curved chest pockets with arrow reinforcements, padded shoulders, top loop button, deep scalloped yoke, and waist shaping darts. The high waist trousers are detailed with peaked tunnel belt loops, curved hip pockets, piping down the sides, and pearl snap with a metal zipper on the left side. This set is in great vintage condition, with a few tiny period mends, but no holes, stains or odors to note.

900s Defend The Divine Mantle & Sash | Antique Black Velvet Green Silk w/Ornate Silver Embellishments Knights Templar Ceremonial Garb Cape

Throw on this cape and sash combo to defend the right for divinely decadent fashion! This set from the 1900s was originally worn as ceremonial garb by members of the Knights Templar ( a subset of the Freemasons) but the extravagant use of embellishments and fine cloths makes this just too stunning to not re-purpose. The circular cut mantle of black velvet is lined with quilted pearl white silk and has magnificent drape. Silver metal threads are used extensively including the cord trim, braided with black silk to create the tassel fringe ties, and heavy couchwork embroidery. The sash is also black velvet but lined in kelly green silk and the silver embellishments include dense fringe, more couchwork embroidery, medals, and a dangling dagger. This set is in great vintage condition, with no stains, holes, or odors to note.

You’ll have the enchanting essence of the lily of the valley in this 1940s “Jonathan Logan” dress! This gorgeous frock is made of a rayon/cotton with weighty drape and features a large scale print of lily of the valley flowers in white on a dark chocolate brown background. Very pretty silhouette with padded shoulders, fitted waist, and very full flared skirt just asking to twirl. The bodice has unique tie through corset-lace buttonhole fastenings and the pièce de résistance is the voluminous shawl collar that when it’s time to bring the drama can be pulled up as a hood and is detailed with a central scallop notch. This vintage 1930s peach pink floral lace gown is lacey heaven! The delicate netting is strewn with flower and leaf embroidery. It has short puff sleeves, and empire waist, button covered snaps up the front, and metal cloth-covered side zip. Lace has a bit of stretch to it. The slip is pale pink silk and has a scoop back. Straps have adjustable length. This dress is in great vintage condition with no holes, stains, or odors to note. Note: slip worn in modeling is model’s own.

Fit for the fairytale princess that had a humble start, this 1940s formal set will give you a golden experience! Comprised of a jacket and dress and chock full of nods to once upon a time, the main fabric is a lovely silk brocade of muted gold and depicts bursting florals that flash ivory in the light. The jacket is fully made of the brocade and is styled with a waspie waist, seventeen loop buttons, padded shoulders, dolman sleeve with wrist taper ending in a point, and overall shows skillful seamwork for stunning shape. The gown is darling with a peasant inspired blouse of ivory silk, Swiss waist, and ultra full gathered skirt that will have you swaying with joy. Metal zipper on the side. This dress set is in great vintage condition, with a couple faint marks but no holes or odors to note.

Is there any other vintage brand than “Catalina” that so well serves the seasonal wardrobe? Swimsuits for summer and cardigans for fall, and this 1940s piece has the perfect autumn vibe in more way than one! This cattail themed example of their famous jacquard knits is certainly one of our favourites. Wool in pale daffodil yellow is mingled with eggshell white and cocoa brown to depict the grassy flower heads positioned in an asymmetric fashion. It has braided edging which also makes a tie at the neck, fastens with gold medal buttons, and is knit with hourglass shaping. This cardigan is in great vintage condition, a couple subtle mends and a small mark on the right cuff but no other stains, holes, or odors to note.

This shapely knit from 1942 will have you looking so snazzy you’ll cause a sensation at the university game! Knit in scarlet wool, ribbed stitches are skillfully used to decorate the yoke, nipping the waist, and fitting the wrists. The shoulders are puffed with strategic pleats and welted slant pockets sit directly under the yoke. Ultra-wide waistband combined with the strong shoulders make for a truly standout silhouette. A chenille patch of red and smoke grey denote the ‘42 year and “S” for Stanford in a lantern or acorn like symbol. From the “Lion” label.
