We finished up the front window Sunday afternoon, the sun was shining and I couldn't get a good picture. Yesterday was cloudy so the pictures are better but still not the greatest!! How about those giant wooden sunflowers!!

We have several pieces of furniture "built" but not finished. Since Jim is hurt and we won't be at the Preston County Buckwheat Festival this year, I need to do some marketing to sell some pieces. Right now, most need sanded down and prepped for paint & stain. We're going to offer these finished or unfinished (you can paint & stain yourself) if you see a piece you might be interested in, reach out to me!

Just a little update on what's happening here at The Painted Cupboard. A couple weeks ago Jim took a little tumble on his motorcycle. After 2 ER visits, they confirmed that nothing is fractured or broken (thank goodness, we thought he fractured his pelvis). He has a huge hematoma on his hip that runs down to his calf. Recovery time is 4-6+ weeks. It's a very deep bruise and he's in alot of pain. Therefore we had to cancel our booths at The Preston County Buckwheat Festival. You can still come see us at the shop, we're open 7 days a week.

Seasons change and FALL is our favorite! Yellow, red, orange and dark green, it doesn't get any better than this!!
