The last time I seasoned my crucible was ten years ago. It was so long that I ever forgot how to do it! I had to ask to refresh my memory.. so here it is 1- mic borax and boric acid. 2- torch fire while swirling. Don’t forget to coat the spout.

Process video showing how to add gold foil to copper blanks. While some jewelers work directly on 18k gold, with prices of gold these days, I find the foil to be a nice compromise.
