Specializing in creating purposeful handcrafted products, that delivers true essence. Creative Allure was established, as a home-base business in 2003, by Lisa Yvette, (artist) in the city of Berkeley, California. Her initial plans were to produce and sell bookmarks from her drawings. She introduced her first line of bookmarks entitled, “That Red Dress”. The collection consisted of four stylist ladies wearing various styles of red dresses. Today the company resides in Oakland, CA, where Lisa now creates and works from her home studio. Throughout the years, many more images and a host of other gifts have been added to the product line and is continuously growing. She is often asked, “Why the blank faces?” The images lack facial features because this allows the observer to envision his/her sister, best friend, mother, daughter or themselves in the images, which makes it personal.
