From linens, centerpiece displays, wooden statement pieces and everything in between, our hope is to provide you a plethora of options in order to make your perfect day. Many of the items were hand-crafted here at our home (thanks to my incredibly talented husband!), and we will continue adding new hand-crafted items, as well as décor pieces on a regular basis. Meet the Heart Behind A Perfect Day~

Hi! I’m Laura Vaughn, the face and heart behind A Perfect Day! I started this business in the spring of 2021 to provide our tri-state area with a one-stop spot for event decor rentals, both small and large, for all types and styles of events. During the past five years, this business has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, and I’ve truly loved every minute of it!

Most of my time is spent working with clients on weddings, but I also love helping provide rentals for bridal and baby showers, graduation parties, quinceañeras, family gatherings, and so much more.

My husband, Chase, is the talent behind many of my handcrafted wooden pieces. I also want to give a special shoutout to my father-in-law, Rick. Since his retirement, he has generously shared both his time and talent to help create some of my larger pieces, including the popular wooden pallet backdrop! I’m so thankful to be able to offer these one-of-a-kind statement pieces, all built by two great guys, as part of my rental inventory.

Chase and I have two kids, Conner and Brooklyn. What you don’t always see behind the scenes is our kids hanging out with us and playing nearby while we build new pieces or while I’m preparing for events. I started this business as a stay-at-home mom with my family’s needs in mind, and I feel incredibly grateful for what it has grown into today, and I have all of my amazing clients to thank for that.

Whether you need rentals for an entire event or just a few statement pieces to bring your day’s vision to life, I’m always happy to help. The best part of what I do is watching each client transform their celebration into their own version of *a perfect day*.
