💛 How many hours do you think go into creating a custom cake?

When people see the finished cake, they see the frosting, the colors, and the decorations.

What they don't always see are the conversations, planning, shopping, baking from scratch, fillings, buttercream, decorating, cleanup, packaging, and all the behind-the-scenes work that happens long before delivery day.

Every custom cake that leaves my kitchen is made with intention, care, and love because I know it's becoming part of someone's celebration and memories.

☕️💛 What's one thing you're working toward this week?

Monday mornings usually start with coffee, a to-do list that's too long, and a prayer that somehow everything gets done.

This season of life has me balancing a full-time job, three kids, helping care for my dad, and growing Bee's Sweets & Treats one order at a time.

Some days are exhausting.
Some days are overwhelming.
And some days I wonder how I'll fit it all in.

But every cake, cookie, truffle, and dessert that leaves my kitchen reminds me why I started.

I started baking because of the love and memories shared with my grandmother. I continue because I love creating those same sweet memories for others.

To everyone who supports my small business, shares my posts, recommends me to friends, places orders, or simply cheers me on—thank you. You are helping make this dream possible. 💕

As I sit here with my coffee this morning, I'm choosing gratitude over stress and progress over perfection.

Today I'm especially thankful for the fathers who have shaped my life.
My dad was my first hero, and now I have the blessing of watching my husband be a hero to our son.

Fatherhood isn't always loud. Sometimes it's showing up, working hard, sacrificing, protecting, teaching, and loving your family day after day.

To all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, bonus dads, and father figures—thank you for all you do.

💛 What's one thing you're proud of accomplishing this week?
Wednesday into Thursday was one of those stretches that reminded me just how busy this season of life is.
Between work, Bible study, working on a custom cake, a few hours of sleep, a half shift at work, my daughter's post-op appointment, cleaning my dad's apartment, dad getting discharged after his hospital stay, and delivering a custom heart cake, I felt like I was running from one thing to the next.
It wasn't glamorous. It wasn't Pinterest-perfect. But it was real.
It was simply a mom, wife, daughter, caregiver, supervisor, baker, and woman of faith doing her best to show up for the people who needed her.
Some days I wonder how everything gets done, and then I remember how blessed I am to have a family to care for, a job that supports us, a business that's growing, and customers who trust me with their special moments.
This season isn't always easy, but it's one I'm incredibly grateful for.
To everyone who supports Bee's Sweets & Treats—whether you've placed an order, shared a post, liked a photo, referred a friend, or simply cheered me on—thank you. Your support means more than you know. 💕
