We don’t usually get political here, but we will always take a stand against censorship. 📚

Teen books deal with teen realities; abuse, racism, sexuality, addiction, mental health, grief and figuring out who you are. Sometimes the kid reading that book is living through the exact thing on those pages and needs to know they aren’t alone.

Parents have every right to decide what their own child reads.

Removing, restricting or hiding books because you don’t want someone else’s child reading them isn’t parenting. It’s censorship.

And we will never support it.

Choose your child’s books. Not everyone else’s. Freedom to read matters. ❤️📚

Soooo Shawn and I spent an hour brainstorming tonight and I THINK WE FIGURED IT OUT!! 😂

We came up with a whole new setup that lets us fit TWENTY indie authors in the store AND gets everyone moving through the ENTIRE store instead of getting backed up at the entrance 🙌😂

Because as amazing as today was, y’all standing outside for an HOUR in the Florida heat was NOT IT 😭😂

Our next big indie author signing is DECEMBER 5TH and OMG you guys.

Here’s a mini photo dump!

We had around 200 people in line for Romance Bookstore Day. 😳 The store stayed PACKED for three solid hours, several of our authors completely SOLD OUT of books, and we somehow went through 14 bottles of champagne 😂🥂

I knew today was going to be busy. I did NOT expect this.

Seriously, seeing that many people show up for our bookstore AND these authors was freaking amazing. 😭❤️
