Some big changes happening. I Rhiannon and my partner Mark of 13+ years are parting ways.💔

I can ship plants dormant anywhere in the continental US, until April 28th. Most of the carnivorous plants in the availability highlights are still available. More plants will be made available in the next week that I never posted in the fall. Deals for large amounts will be offered for mailing and local pickup.🖤🌱🖤

I will be having a local plant sale on April 11th. 🖤🌱🖤

I will also be selling off my personal hoard of vintage collectibles, crystals, fabrics, books, prints and art work, and anything I can to downsize and get me into a new home. 🖤🦋🖤

I am looking for a studio/one bedroom or shared home from Trinidad to Rio Del, for myself and my chihuahuas Wind and Storm. Ground level suites me best, I have balance issues so lots of stairs would be dangerous for me. I would love a sunny window or a little garden space, plants will always be a part of my life. I am not afraid of being off the beaten path, but cell service or landline is a must for a disabled person. $950 max with Utilities included is my budget.🌌🏠🌌

This is the normal variety. The plants are mature flowering size but compared some other varieties of sarracenia, Leucophylla for example, the rhizomes are quite small.

🖤🌱🖤 A stolen is what an offshoot of a larger plant is called.

Darlingtonia is the only West Coast pitcher plant in the United States. This can be a difficult plant to grow. In its natural habitat its roots never get above 60° because they live in cold water serpentine seeps. In some places it can get to 100° during summer days, but plants are usually shaded by conifers, and or the ground temps don't increase. This has to be mimicked in cultivation. It definitely won't survive in dry dessert conditions. Like sarracenia it can freeze and die in small pots during the winter, so if it snow in your area it will need to be protected, but not kept above 50° during its dormancy. Please do some research if you are not familiar with these plants before buying. I want you to be successful and not disappointed.

Rhizomes are mailed out in reusable ziplock bags with paper towels to keep them moist during their travels. You will receive a printed out packing list with your order. Please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your order if there is a problem. If I have made a clear mistake I will fix it at no cost to you. If you don't follow my planting instructions, then I'm not responsible for your plants doing poorly. Detailed instructions will be emailed or DM'd to you once payment is received.
