We were married at the exquisitely magical Hellens Manor on the 13th of August in 2016, a blessing to have our handfasting witnessed by this place and the land on which she sits. We chose our song "A Time for Us" - the theme from Franco Zeffirelli's "Romeo & Juliet" written by Nino Rota and arranged by Henry Mancini- as a tribute to our q***r ancestors before us who for countless generations were denied their right to love openly and freely. It was further arranged and played at our ceremony by our friend Eric Rubio on Hellens old piano.
