🔊Invoke your dearly departed to the table this Day of the Dead weekend, known by many names Samhain, Dia de (los) Mu***os, Nos Calan Gaeaf. 10-31-26 6:00PM at Two Trees Tea House.
The evening begins at 6pm outside the tea house with an opening ritual under the redwoods led by Dimensions Collective and with performances by Tessa Rissacher & Maria Duong.
Tea house floral magician Serpentina & friends Tennessy and Xochi La will dress the tea house in glamour, the center table laid for the (not so) Silent Supper altar, an invitation for the spirits to dine with us. Bring an object, talisman or photo of dearly departed you wish to join us and place it on the altar.
Tea house medium Ash Canty will offer short mediumship readings. Sit with them and channel communication with an ancestor or a spirit you've been to wanting to connect with.
Tea house bard Lulu Thompsxn will be serving haunted house apparition meets lofi throughout the evening.
We will be offering tea, "special" tea and our signature congee, the quintessential ancestral dish served from elder to child for countless generations. The meal will be served with optional tea egg, braised meat and an array of toppings, vegan and gluten free included.
When you leave, light some incense to release the spirits, unless you intend to take them home with you...
The celebration is free to attend, with food, drink, and performances for donations and tips. No one turned away for lack of funds.
Suggested attire: come dressed to impress the ancestors. Goth, glam, camp and folklore-core all welcome.
