The 54ft Blackwell which proudly carried the Primary Search® name has been sold and will head to its new Morehead City, NC home shortly.

The boat was posted on my personal page and went under contract in 24 hours. Thank you everyone for the shares, social media is a powerful tool.

The Blackwell, which would be the second boat to carry the Primary Search® name, arrived in Ocean City, MD 12/18/2018. She was orange, if you remember, and in need some love. The lion share of the work was done by family, friends, and I. The list is long, and I would not want to miss anyone. Over the years at least 30 people gave up their weekends, evenings, and holidays to help turn this boat into the beauty she is today. There is no way I could adequately express my gratitude for your dedication. Your efforts have helped to make the next move possible.
There were also several companies and professionals who helped over the years. Many thanks to Duffie Boatworks, Shore Power Solutions, Steves Marine Service, Edwards Marine, Sunset Marina, sunset provisions, Millers Island Propeller, Quick Marine, and other marine professionals that helped refit and complete technical work.
As the Captain, and owner, fishing and maintenance of a single engine boat is a skill I am grateful to have learned. Blood, sweat, tears, and my heart and soul, went into the Primary Search® Blackwell. The knowledge I have gained about wood boats, project management, hard work, and sacrifice, has been a priceless experience. It makes me happy to know her new owner intends to keep her legacy and standard of care set by the Primary Search® gang. She’s leaves oc sold for the highest amount since she was built. A testament to all the hard work that was achieved.

Blackwell Hull #3, built in 1992 will always have a special place in my heart. Good luck to the ole girl, 31 years young and ready for 31 more.

The next Chapter of Primary Search Sportfishing® begins on Friday, stay tuned!

Tournament season is over, no large checks this year for us but totally stoked for our friends that won this year. Special thank you to Bri Susk and Dave Allen for year #4 together. Simply can’t do it without them.
