A true gift to the world, a great beacon of light! As a world traveler, who made this country my home, its a country like no other.

Happy Father’s Day!
To all the daddies out there, we are forever grateful. You are such an important parts of our lives, you help make us who we are.

Good morning! ☀️

After an uneventful night, we are removing the boards from our doors.

We must give credit were it is due. Much respect to the OCEAN CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, city of Ocean city, NJSP and our city leadership. Job well done. This was a real-time model for the art of de-escalation, and conflict management.
Stayed around until midnight, constant police patrols. Thank you for protecting and serving.

We will be open today 10-6.

Now the only question I’m left with after watching videos of yesterday’s protests from our town and far beyond.....
Since so much hugging, in show of solidarity, social distancing in practicality is no longer.... can we let all the small businesses LAW ABIDING OWNERS that were denied to make an income in the name of social distancing OPEN THEIR DOORS? TODAY? NO RESTRICTIONS? Let the owners make Reasonable decisions on how to keep their customers safe? Let their customers vote with your dollars? Non of us want to jeopardize our customers not before the pandemic and definitely not after....
That’s all.

That’s it, the door is locked and the last board is up.
Let’s pray this was all for nothing, and tomorrow all we will have to do is uncover our beautiful store.

Protest today remained peaceful and most have left the island. My prayers are now for the small businesses in wildwood, as I just got a word a protest is planned for tonight.

This is my friends, what terror looks and feels like. Even if nothing will happen, the worry and the anxiety is as real as can be.
This has to end, now! Nobody deserves this, nobody.

It’s a sad day, that businesses nearly recovering from a shut down, now have to close their doors with plywood to protect themselves form possible crimes!!!!
The fact that we even have to worry about this is infuriating!!!!!!!

I’ll be sleeping at my business tonight, the one that I put my blood, sweat, tears and soul into. I’ll be dammed if anyone will deny me the ability to protect my property.

Praying for peace, but keeping my eyes open.

I love this country so much, my heart aches.
This is not my birth country, this is my choice country.
It wasn’t an easy choice, because my birth country, Israel, is incredible.
However I chose this country to be my home because of its promise of Freedom. Freedoms that were so important to protect, this country was willing to send its sons and daughters to harms way, in far away lands.
Some never came back, some came back broken. Yet in a country with no mandatory service (unlike Israel), knowing the ultimate sacrifice might have to be made, everyday we have families ready to enlist.
This should never be overlooked. This is what makes this country great. Those are the people and the families I would like to thank everyday.

Also, I would like to apologize from the bottom of my heart, to the greatest generation, our elderly generation, many of whom fought the bloodiest wars. I apologize for forgetting you in nursing homes, not protecting you from deadly virus and worse deadly policies, that left you to die alone, with no one to fight for you because your loved ones were kept away. This is not a political statement, this is a sincere apology. You are now part of my Memorial Day.

In Israel we used to sing that we long for the day we will be “putting roses at the end of a barrel off a gun”. I long for this day for my USA.

To the greatest generation, our past and serving people of the Arm Forces, Thank You.

On Monday, Liz and family had to say final goodbye to the beloved Jesse James.
Jesse, a German Shepard, was blessed to live 14 years and 7 months, most in excellent health. Unconditional love and his mom’s incredible tender care meant life well lived. This of course was so well deserved, because Jesse was the gentlest souls that I have ever had the pleasure to be around.
I owe so much to him and to his mom, my best friend Liz, After all Jesse was my best patient. His kind and uncomplicated way, allowed me to practice homeopathy on him with great success. Liz and her kin observation, allowed me to treat Jesse the way I saw fit. She pushed me to the limit with him, pushed me to learn more about the application of herbs, and was always open to ideas (laser and water therapy were great help for a long while). And truth be told we never know if my intuition with Jesse, meant better health for him... We could only guess, because Jesse never went to the vet! Never got blood work done, never had illness I couldn’t seem to fix... We always said, the “proof was in the pudding”.... it wasn’t until Liz decided to get his blood tested at the age of 14. The results were nothing short of amazing, the vet was blown away, giving full credit to Liz’s care and choices of treatment throughout Jesse’s life!! So much so, that Liz wanted us to publish the the blood results, but like anything else I didn’t know how to put it together in a way that will make sense..
It all hit me when Liz brought him over on Monday morning to say goodbye. Everything I know I owe to him!!! He was the perfect soul and my best teacher.
Because of Jesse, so many dogs have been helped at our store over the years, and Many more will be helped.
Jesse will live on forever, with every dog he helps!!!
We love you Jesse, you were my son’s favorite dog. Even though you weren’t mine, you had my heart.

Liz and Jim, I’m so sorry for your loss. So grateful to have had the chance to be part of Jesse James’s life.

For life well lived!!! To Jesse James❤️❤️❤️

We have amazing customers!
Here is one of them, Amici’s owner Melissa and her daughter, doing great things helping support our LOCAL health care worker. It’s easy to help, just buy pizza, help a business and help our community. It’s a win win!!
